We’re thrilled to celebrate our wedding at our dream venue nestled in the heart of beautiful Squamish, BC—a place we absolutely adore! WHERE:
Sunwolf Riverside Resort
Nestled on 5.5 acres of forested riverside property, Sunwolf sits just north of Squamish—halfway between Vancouver and Whistler.

💍 2:30—11pm: A short and sweet ceremony followed by cocktail hour, dinner and dancing!
A wedding shuttle will be provided for our guests staying at our recommended hotels (see below for details).

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Attire: Formal
Think elevated cocktail attire in breathable fabrics—cocktail dresses, long dresses, or chic jumpsuits for women; suits or jackets for men.
Block heels, wedges, or polished flats are encouraged for grass and forest paths.
Consider bringing a light layer for when the evening cools down.
Weather:
High 74°F / low 54°F, with sunset at 8:40 PM.
Our venue is entirely outdoors, and mountain weather can be unpredictable—please pack accordingly.
Festivities Schedule
Thurs, Aug. 6
Check in & explore:
Fly into Vancouver, Canada (YVR)—about an hour drive from Squamish, BC. Check out more info below for travel details and accommodations.
12-4pm(ish): Kick off the weekend with an optional outdoor adventure! We’ll plan a group activity (like fishing or climbing) for anyone who wants to explore the great outdoors.
Details to come closer to the date.
Evening: Pizza + Beer
We’ll probably head to Backcountry Brewing after our adventure day to grab pizzas and beer!
Fri, Aug. 7
Gondola + Welcome Reception:
11am-2pmish: Join us for an optional outing to the Sea to Sky Gondola! We’ll head up together to take in the views, walk the trails, and enjoy some fresh mountain air before the festivities begin.
📍Sea to Sky Gondola, Squamish
6-8pm: Welcome Reception at House of Lager
📍House of Lager Brewing, Squamish | Come stop by for a welcome drink and some light apps.

Wedding Day!
2:15pm: Arrive at Sunwolf Riverside Resort
Shuttle buses will be provided to and from our recommended hotels. More details to follow.
2:30-11pm: Ceremony + Reception
📍Sunwolf Riverside Resort, Squamish | Ceremony will start promptly at 2:30pm followed by cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing!
Airport & Transportation
Fly into Vancouver: The closest airport is Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and is ~1 hr drive to Squamish.
Uber & Lyft are available in Vancouver but do NOT operate in Squamish, so please don’t rely on them once you’re out of Vancouver. We highly recommend that our guests rent a car upon arrival.
Car Rentals — are available at YVR ariport and in downtown Vancouver. We recommend booking by early summer.
Carpooling — Mary & Grant can help coordinate carpools closer to the date so guests can share rides. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need help facilitating a carpool!
Taxis — If you’re not renting a car, the only local option is Squamish Taxi at (604) 567-1111. Service is limited, so plan ahead.
Public Transit — options to Sunwolf are limited. If you won’t have a car, consider Squamish Connector Shuttle from Vancouver to downtown Squamish.
Wedding Shuttles — will be provided to and from our recommended hotels for the day of the wedding. More details will be sent out beforehand.

Sunwolf Glamping
Sunwolf can accommodate a limited amount glamping yurts or tent camping. Shared facilities are available onsite—a luxury shower and washroom facility with change areas and oversized mirrors is available for guests to use.

*If you book an Airbnb, please make sure you arrange a ride to and from the venue in advance. Rideshares are NOT available in Squamish and taxi’s are limited. There is parking on-site available if you wish to drive. Please reach out to Mary & Grant if you need any help arranging a ride!

An absolute must-see while you’re in Squamish. Ride the gondola up for epic views over Howe Sound, then explore scenic alpine trails, suspension bridges, and panoramic lookout points — plus a café at the top for snacks and drinks with a view.
It’s an easy half-day adventure and spectacular in any season.

Rent a Bike Dialed In Cycling is our go-to shop! They rent high-quality bikes and offer great service. The best part? They’re located close to our venue, and can help you get set up for Squamish’s epic trail network that are easy for people who have never gone Mountain biking before.
Must-Ride Trails (Near Sunwolf):
Ray Peters Trail Network – Smooth and flowy beginner-friendly trails through the forest. Great for a warm-up or a casual ride.
Cliff’s Corners / Wonderland – Intermediate trails with a fun mix of berms, bridges, and forest views.
Entrails – Classic Squamish tech for the more advanced rider.
🚴♂️ Whistler Mountain Bike Park: About 45 mins north — world-class lift-served downhill, great for a day trip from Squamish.

Sorry, our wedding is an adults only event. Children are welcome at the welcome reception and farewell brunch before and after our big day. For the wedding day, we kindly ask for an adults-only celebration. This allows us to create the intimate, mature atmosphere we’re envisioning for the big day.
